Varsity vs Tipton High School Braves improve to 2-8. We play Peru, Friday, and Kokomo on Saturday. Coach Burrus Quotes: "This young team of ours took a big step winning at Tipton. His play as a scoring point guard is really helping this team. Jack Gochenour had 23 points, and went over 200 points for the season. Cohen Helmuth came off the bench to score 12 points. He had a big steal and a layup. Everyone that played was very active and sound on defense. Marcell Sims protected the basket and needed stitches after the game. Levi Merritt led us with 5 rebounds. He helped down low to help on the bigger Tipton players. We ended up with 12 steals for the game. That was a big difference for us in winning. I was ver proud of the effort. Incredible win for us."
