Career Night for Braves in "Braves vs Cancer" game

The Lady Braves organized their annual "Braves vs Cancer" event for Breast Cancer Awareness, raising funds for a local family. They faced a potential sectional opponent, Western, who will host the sectional this year, and secured a 69-36 victory. In the first quarter, both teams focused on defense. Western led 8-7 before the Braves went on an 11-0 run, ending the quarter at 18-8. Scorers included Ireland Kile with 6 points, Aubrey Kaiser with 4, Delaney Betzner with 3, and Aubrey Stoll with 2. During the second quarter, Western's Rawlings hit three 3-pointers, trying to keep pace. The Braves extended their lead with contributions from Kile (5 points), Betzner (6), and Kaiser (6), leading 35-24 at halftime. At halftime, the Lady Braves decided to intensify their defense and offense. They limited Western to 8 points while scoring 22, with Betzner adding 10, Kaiser 5, Addie Maiben 3, and contributions from Kasey Murry and Stoll. The third quarter ended with a 54-32 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Lady Braves held Western to 4 points and added 12, with scoring from Kile, Addie Maiben, Murry, Betzner, and Stoll. Aubrey Stoll achieved 7 assists, breaking her school record with 105 assists for the season. Aubrey Kaiser had a career-high 15 points on 6 of 10 shooting.
