The boys gave absolutely everything they had on Saturday. After winning the TRC for the past 10 years, it stung to come up short. Congratulations to the Northwestern boys on their conference title. They were just deeper than us. For the day, the boys had 29 out of 31 best times/scores which is all a coach can ask for. All three relays were close. We lost the Medley by .13 seconds, won the 200 Free relay by 1.48 seconds, and lost the 400 Relay by .84 seconds. Results: 200 Free: Drake Samuel, 3rd, dropped 3.5 sec, Christian Collins, 12th, dropped 4.4 sec 200 IM: Aiden Ousley, 2nd, dropped .12 sec, Micah Barnhill, 6th, dropped 1.9sec 50 Free: Zach Duke, 2nd, dropped .84 sec, Ethan Lee, 4th, dropped .27 sec, Kade Nye, 9th, dropped .57 sec Diving: Christian Collins 2nd, Kade Nye 4th 100 Fly: Drake Samuel, 3rd, dropped 1.54 sec, Ethan Lee 5th, dropped .9sec 100 Free: Zach Duke, 3rd, dropped 1.33sec, Joel Loshnowsky, 5th, dropped .9sec, Kaden Hanson, 8th, dropped 2.04 sec 500 Free: Cooper Moore, 9th, dropped 4.92 sec 100 Back: Aiden Ousley, 1st, Micah Barnhill, 4th, dropped .21 100 Breast: Joel Loshnowsky, 4th, dropped 3.29, Kaden Hanson, 6th, dropped 6.59sec The Golden Goggle Awards go to Zach Duke, Drake Samuel, and Christian Collings. I am so proud of how the boys have worked in practice and how they prepared themselves for the meet. It is amazing to me how much they have improved this season. We look to continue to get better with three dual meets and Sectional left.
