7th Grade Middle School vs Northwestern MS-HS (23 - 12) Win What a stellar performance by our girls tonight. Their improvement from our last game to this game was profound. I was impressed with our resilient effort, hustle, and physicality on defense that limited the Tiger's paint touches and second chance opportunities. We did a much better job in our offense with spacing, attacking gaps, and trusting each other with the basketball especially through the fast break. Expecting to see this trend continue throughout our season. We had the lead to start the game and stayed within striking distance until the final few minutes of the game to a team that beat us last year by double tonight's differential. We kept digging deep mustering up the courage to withstand their offensive intensity with gritty, physical, and tenacious defense and hustle. We look forward to hopefully seeing them again in the conference tournament.
