Lady Braves vs. Whitko Wildcats Recap

The Lady Braves faced off against the 2A #1 ranked Whitko Wildcats in a TRC match-up on Thursday night. Whitko entered the game with an impressive 18-1 overall record and a 7-0 standing in TRC play. Despite their efforts, the Lady Braves were defeated 76-34. Throughout the game, the Lady Braves implemented various defensive strategies in an attempt to contain the Wildcats, who maintained a strong shooting performance with a 59% EFG%. The Lady Braves showed determination and Brave Pride, using this experience as a learning opportunity for future games. Looking ahead, they will travel to Northwestern on Tuesday, January 27, and host Lewis Cass on Friday, January 30 in a Boys/Girls double header. On Friday night, the Lady Braves will honor their seniors players: Addie Maiben, Averie Maiben, Gabby Griffis, and Eleanor Boshears. Additionally, they will recognize their senior managers, Kira Ropes and Leah Boggs, as well as three foreign exchange students in the program: Noa Lizcano Lopez, Sanne Vermeer, and Nekane Hernandez.
