7th Grade Girls Middle School vs Eastern Jr & Sr High School (19 - 20) Loss Part 2 of our battle with Eastern didn't finish as intended. We beat them by 1 in our last outing at the Wabash tournament just to turn around and play them again only to lose to them this time by 1 in front of our home crowd. It came down to who could score on their last possession after we were trading buckets back and forth. Our ladies played exceptional defense but gave up a few layups in our press and some rebound put backs that ended up leading to our demise. We hustled, were scrappy, and played with heart. We will keep plugging away at being more confident with the ball and more efficient offensively by attacking the paint aggressively and finding the open player. We are improving and will continue to fight to get better together each and every game. We held the Comets to 2 points for 3 quarters and 4 for the entire game while everyone contributed in the scoring and steals columns. The win moves us to 4-1 on the season while we look forward to our next match up verse Logansport.
