The Braves' aggressive defense dominated the first quarter, forcing West Lafayette into 12 turnovers, resulting in 7 points for the Braves. Senior Addie Maiben led with two three-pointers, contributing six of her 12 points. Additional scoring came from Ireland Kile with four points, Aubrey Stoll with two, and Kasey Murry hit a three-pointer at the buzzer, giving the Braves a 15-3 lead. In the second quarter, the Braves continued their momentum with three different players—Kile, Maiben, and Delaney Betzner—each sinking a three-pointer. Aubrey Kaiser added a two-pointer, while the Braves' defense effectively neutralized West Lafayette's size advantage, leading to a 26-9 halftime score. The third quarter mirrored the first, with the Braves causing 10 turnovers, converting them into 11 points. Offensively, Averie Maiben, Kile, and Addie Maiben each scored a three-pointer. Kasey Murry and Kile added two-pointers, and Kaiser went 1-2 from the free throw line, extending the lead to 40-15. In the final quarter, the Braves excelled at the free throw line, shooting 75% (12-16). West Lafayette had their strongest quarter, scoring 11 points, but the Braves outpaced them 14-11, securing a 54-26 victory.
