Lady Braves Triumph Over Peru in Sectional Semi-Finals

In a thrilling Sectional Semi-Finals, round 3 matchup against Peru, both teams entered playing their best basketball of the season. Peru had won four consecutive games before facing the Braves. With enthusiastic fans from both schools creating a vibrant atmosphere, the teams were primed for an intense game. Historically, the Braves held an advantage, winning 6 of the last 7 encounters, with their only loss occurring in the 2024 County Tournament championship in overtime. First Quarter Highlights: The Braves launched an aggressive attack against the Tigers' defense, hitting 6 of 13 from 2FG and 6 of 8 from the free throw line. Key contributors included Ireland Kile with 7 of her 21 points, Delaney Betzner with 5 of her 17 points, and Aubrey Stoll with 6 of her 16 points.
