8th Grade Middle School vs North Miami Middle/High School (23 - 15) Win The Lady Braves went 4-0 tonight with wins by the 5th-8th grades. In the 8th grade game, the Braves played tough defense and were able to capitalize on turnovers and turn them into points. Rebounding was key leading to several putbacks as well. Ellie Hostetler was all over the floor hustling for loose balls while Hayden Soldi earned numerous deflections with great anticipation. Katrina- 12 pts Whitney- 5 pts Bailei- 4 pts Scarlett- 2 pts The 7th grade game was cut to a half due to limited numbers by the opposing team but we were still able to display and practice our typical smothering defense. We held the Warriors to just 4 points. Hattie Hatcher had 6 points while Adela Houlihan and Alana Brennan each had 2. Congrats to the 6th and 5th grade girls on their wins as well. We play again at Peru tomorrow.
