Varsity vs Carroll Jr-Sr High School (Flora) Braves fall to 2-14 with the loss to Carroll. Coach Burrus Quotes:"Tough loss against Carroll. We played as well as we are capable of playing in the first half. We built a halftime lead of 35-22. Carroll made a good run at us in the 2nd half. They basically did to us what we did to them. What I liked about this game was we kept battling and did not let Carroll get away until we had to foul. I am sad for the kids. He added 4 rebounds, an assist, and one steal. Caiden Richards hustled the whole night. He was active on both ends. He had 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, and 2 steals. Marcell Sims had 3 assists, 5 rebounds, and was active in the middle of our defense. Treson Ambrose worked hard chasing out front. Cohen Helmuth hit a three, had a steal, and assist.Jack Gochenour had a great first half. He had 19 points. He ended with 22 and 2 blocks, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
