Your 8th Grade Lady Braves were able to hoist the championship trophy after putting up big offensive numbers while hosting the county tournament. We were able to capitalize on strong passing, ball movement, and defensive stops. In the first game verse Peru, Whitney let it rain from behind the arc with six 3s while Hayden earned 5 assists. Ellie and Scarlett were both hunting for steals, while Bailei and Katrina delivered with aggressive rebounding. For the first game against Peru, we were leading by two going into halftime which was completely different than our first meeting just over a week ago. Verse Caston we had the game within six points in the last couple of minutes of regulation before we had to send them to the charity stripe.
