Varsity vs Plymouth High School Braves fall to 3-18. Coach Burrus Quotes:"Senior night was a great effort by our team. It was the kind of game we have played a lot this year. Plymouth hit their free throws down the stretch. We went 9-21 from the free throw line. We also couldn't hit key shots when we needed them. Our effort was great on both ends. We were playing a solid team. This was a game that I felt we really battled to the end. Again, we have done that a lot this season. Jack Gochenour led us with 26pts. Caiden Richards added 10 on Senior Night. He also had 4 rebounds and 6 steals. Marcell Sims scored 8pts, had 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. Cohen Helmuth came off the bench to add 7pts. Treson Ambrose had 5 rebounds. We had one senior this year. Caiden Richards. He was able to come a long way this year for our team. He really keyed a lot of our offense that we had this year. He got the ball to people so they could score. Caiden was a very productive player on the stat sheet. Almost 9 points per game, 4 or 5 rebounds most games, and lots of steals and assists. His contributions go way beyond the stat sheet. He was a great player for younger players to get to play with this year. He worked hard for us and it has paid off for him. I have Caiden in class as well. He is a joy to have in class. He has just been a big positive of this season. I appreciate all his efforts this year. We have been very competitive. Sometimes teams going through a total rebuild can't compete and suffer blow out after blow out. This has not been the case, and the play of Caiden Richards has helped keep us in many games.
