Maconaquah Schools

The Maconaquah Braves defeated Elwood in Friday nights varsity baseball contest by a score of 5-1. Caiden Richards pitched 6 2/3 innings to earn the victory for the Braves. Caiden yielded 0 earned runs while striking out 7. The Braves defense was solid tonight. Cohen Heluth, Marcell Sims, Jack Gochenhour, Damion Torres, and Richards all made outstanding defensive plays tonight. Deven Mitchell (single), and Sims (single). "Tonight we did a good job getting the ball in play with a runner at third. Each time we had a guy there with less than two outs, we were able to get the ground ball and score him". The Braves are back in action on Saturday morning at Tipton for a JV/Varsity double hearder.
