Braves baseball earned a 8-5 win over Tipton Saturday morning. Damion Torres led the Braves at the plate with a double and a single. He also threw out two baserunners to aid the Braves defense. Marcell Sims and Caiden Richard’s each added an RBI single. Eli Grzeyorski doubled and Jack Gochenhour also singled. The Braves struggled on the mound early but the defense bailed them out with inning ending double plays in the 1st and 3rd. CJ Haney earned his first varsity win and Deven Mitchell closed it out for the save. The Braves are back in action Monday at Eastbrooke.
