The boys track and field team traveled to Northwestern on Tuesday, April 14th. After over an hour of lightning delays spent in a crowded locker room, the Braves were able to still put on an impressive performance. The Northwestern Tigers still came out on top, but the Braves kept spirits high, cheering on their teammates the whole way. Notable performances are listed below. This meet kicked off a busy three meet week for the Braves, with a home meet on Thursday and the Big Orange Invitational on Saturday! 100m Dash: Jaxon Sullivan took first. Aiden Robinson took third. 110 High Hurdles: Nolan Tarrh took first. 400m Dash: Joel Loshnowsky took first. Treson Ambrose took third. 300 Intermediate Hurdles: Nolan Tarrh took first. 800m Run: Joel Loshnowsky took first. 3200m Run: Christian Collins took second. 4x100m Relay: The team of Aiden Robinson, Nolan Tarrh, James Stambaugh, and Jaxon Sullivan took second. 4x400m Relay: The team of Nolan Tarrh, Treson Ambrose, Ethan Lee, and Joel Loshnowsky took first. Long Jump: Davian Rutledge took third. Pole Vault: Kaden Hanson took first. Discus: Dawson Newnes took second.
