Despite the pouring rain, harsh wind, and cold temperatures, the Braves competed at the 2026 Big Orange Invitational on Saturday, April 18th. Facing both tough competitors and grueling weather, the team delivered an impressive performance, finishing sixth overall with 52.5 points. By scoring in eleven out of the sixteen events, the Braves showcased their remarkable depth and talent. The team looks to carry this momentum into their next meet at Southwood on Tuesday, April 21st. Notable Performances: - Jaxon Sullivan took home fourth in the 100m dash (11.86) and sixth in the 200m dash (25.06). - Joel Loshnowsky took home third in the 400m dash (54.22). - Ethan Lee took home fifth in the 400m dash (55.19). - Nolan Tarrh took home fourth in the 110m hurdles (15.98) and second in the 300m hurdles (42.19). - Treson Ambrose tied for sixth in high jump (5'4"). - Kaden Hanson took home second in pole vault (12'9"). - Dawson Newnes took home eighth in discus (106'2"). - The team of Aiden Robinson, Nolan Tarrh, James Stambaugh, and Jaxon Sullivan took home sixth in the 4x100m Relay (48.95) - The team of Nolan Tarrh, Treson Ambrose, Ethan Lee, and Joel Loshnowsky took home third in the 4x400m Relay (3:44.45). - The team of Abel Robison, Levi Merritt, Christian Collins, and Joel Loshnowsky took home eighth in the 4x800m Relay (9:12.44).
