Maconaquah Schools

Demonstrating a powerful blend of individual athleticism and seamless teamwork, the Maconaquah Lady Braves track and field team earned a hard-fought 2nd Place finish at the Northwestern Relays. Competing in a unique format where every event is contested as a relay, the Lady Braves went toe-to-toe with powerhouse programs from Northwestern and Eastern high schools. The meet, held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, required athletes to move beyond individual glory and focus on the combined timing and technique of their teammates. This "team-first" mentality was the catalyst for Maconaquah’s success, as they consistently placed near the top of the leaderboard in sprinting, distance, and field event combinations.
