The Braves boys track and field team wrapped up a fantastic season last Thursday at the IHSAA Regional 4 Meet at Lafayette Jefferson High School. Despite matching up against tough regional competition with just seven athletes, the team fought hard, scored 5 points, and tied for 19th overall. The biggest highlight of the night came from Nolan Tarrh, who shattered his own school record in the 300m hurdles. He previously held the record at 40.34 seconds but absolutely flew across the finish line this time at 39.50 seconds. This time and new record placed him 6th overall. While no one advanced to the State Finals, the Braves finished the season with a ton of personal bests and plenty of reasons to celebrate. More Celebrations: Joel Loshnowsky finished his 400m Dash 8th overall, with a new PR of 50.46! Joel dropped an entire second off of his previous personal record. The 4x400m Realy team of Nolan Tarrh, Jaxon Sullivan, Ethan Lee, and Joel Loshnowsky ran 5 seconds faster than ever with a new PR of 3:26.55! This time placed them 8th overall and is only seconds off of the school record! Abel Robison finished 14th overall in the 3200m Run as a freshman with a new PR of 10:37.23!
