Maconaquah Schools

The Warriors of North Miami were at Maconaquah Thursday for our match. The Lady Braves won in three sets 25-16, 25-23, 25-19. Maconaquah is now 6-1 on the season. Due to low numbers for North Miami the JV match was only two sets which the teams split. Maconaquah won the first set 25-23 and North Miami won the second set 21-25. Our team did not really have great energy and we let our opponents hang around, but our girls put their business socks on and took care of business. After some early missed first serves we cleaned it up and ended with more aces than missed serves. North Miami had no answer for OH Kasey Murry at the pin as she downed 15 kills and added eight digs. Ireland Kile blasted nine kills and had three blocks from the middle. Aubrey Kaiser tallied four kills and dug up seven balls on the match. Setter Delaney Betzner dished out 31 assists and saved seven rallies with a dig. The Braves travel to Huntington North Saturday for the Huntington North Invite where we will play four matches on the day. Our first match is approximately 10 AM vs Fort Wayne Wayne
