Maconaquah Cross Country Braves Battle Heavy Competition at Taylor University, Highlighting Four Personal Bests

UPLAND, IN – The Maconaquah Braves cross country team continued their season with a strong showing at Taylor University, highlighted by four personal records (PRs) and standout individual performances across the board. Boys' Race: Robison Leads PR Surge Sophomore Abel Robison once again set the pace for the Braves, shattering his previous best to finish with a lightning-fast time of 17:46.68. Joining Robison in the personal-best momentum were junior Auggie Higgins and junior Hunter Jenkins. Higgins clocked a personal record time of 22:55.15, while Jenkins powered through the line with his own PR of 24:08.75. Senior Jacob Bowman posted a sharp 21:35.86, cutting significant time from an earlier run this season to solidify the boys' impressive team effort. Girls' Race: Schrock and Higgins Show Steady Progress In the girls' action, sophomore June Schrock paced the Braves with an excellent time of 25:25.88, trimming nearly a full minute off her previous race. Fellow sophomore Ellie Higgins also delivered a strong performance, crossing the line in 27:28.16 as she continues her solid sophomore campaign.
