Senior Aubrey Stoll knocked down three birdies on Honeywell Golf Course’s back nine Saturday on her way to a fourth-place individual finish, helping lead the Maconaquah Lady Braves to a strong fifth-place team performance. Stoll once again led the way for Maconaquah, firing an 84. Starting her round on No. 10, Stoll played the back nine first and recorded a 41 before making the turn and shooting a 43 on the front nine. The senior captain highlighted her round with three birdies on the back nine and finished fourth overall in the tournament. This earned Aubrey all Conference honors for the fourth year in a row. Senior Delaney Duke also began her day on the 10th hole. Duke shot a 55 while playing holes 10 through 18 before recording a 57 on the front nine to finish with a 112 and place 24th overall. One of the best stretches of her round came over the final three holes of her opening nine, when Duke played the three-hole stretch in three over par. Junior Delaney Farnham started her round on No. 9 and battled her way to a 117. Farnham's scorecard showed splits of 59 and 58 as she remained remarkably consistent throughout the 18-hole event. Only some missed putts kept Delaney from a much lower score. She finished 32nd overall. Sophomore Brina Smith also began on the ninth hole and finished with a 125. Smith recorded nine-hole splits of 63 and 62, improving by a stroke over the latter half of her round and finishing 41st individually. Brina, who has been battling some back issues, tried on each and every shot. Once her short game matches the progress she’s made on her long game, her scores will drop. For sophomore Evelyn Hanson, Saturday marked an important milestone. Hanson started on No. 8 and completed the first 18-hole round of her golf career. She finished with a 132 after nine-hole scores of 65 and 67, placing 47th overall. More importantly, Hanson gained valuable experience competing through a complete 18-hole tournament for the first time. Maconaquah's fifth-place finish with a 438 was a strong team result, with all five golfers contributing to the Lady Braves' performance. Maconaquah finished the tournament in Wabash with a team score of 438, as the Lady Braves put together one of their better team efforts of the season. Congratulations to the Northfield girls golf team for winning the 2026 TRC Championship and Peru’s Piercey Dyer for winning the individual title.
