7th VB 7th Grade vs Manchester Jr-Sr High School Win Middle School vs Manchester Jr-Sr High School Tonight, the Lady Braves were back home for our third match of the week, taking on Manchester Middle School. We knew going into tonight that Manchester was expected to be one of our tougher opponents this season — and the girls showed up ready to compete. Final Score: Set 1: Manchester 25 — Maconaquah 11 Set 2: Manchester 25 — Maconaquah 8 While the scoreboard wasn't what we wanted tonight, I honestly couldn't be more proud of the way these girls played. They were moving their feet, making the right reads, making adjustments, and fighting for every ball. We talked through mistakes during timeouts, and I watched them step back onto the court and immediately try to apply what we had discussed. That's the kind of growth that doesn't always show up on the scoreboard. Sometimes you can do a lot of things right and the ball simply doesn't bounce your way. Tonight was one of those nights. And after an extremely long week, with three matches this week and three-match weeks becoming the norm lately, these girls still walked onto that court and gave me everything they had. I simply can't be disappointed with that. Tonight may have been a tough one, but one match doesn't erase everything this team has accomplished. We've seen this group grow tremendously, build confidence, and put together some incredible wins already this season. So we'll take tonight, learn from it, get some rest, and come back ready to work. Because next week brings another three matches… and we're looking for another 3-GAME WIN STREAK! Keep your heads up, Lady Braves. I'm proud of you. ❤️💙
