Maconaquah Schools

7th VB 7th Grade vs Wabash High School Loss Tonight, the Lady Braves traveled to Wabash Middle School for another tough match, and Wabash brought some serious volleyball to their home court. Final Score: Set 1: Wabash 25 — Maconaquah 19 Set 2: Wabash 25 — Maconaquah 7 Tonight was definitely a challenge — and honestly, that's exactly what competition is supposed to do. Wabash consistently sent the ball back with a level of control and consistency that our girls simply haven't faced much of this season. But our girls played volleyball. They fought for every ball, and kept working even when the momentum wasn't going our way. The first set especially showed that we could hang in there and compete, even against a team that was putting a lot of pressure on us. The second set got away from us, but I'm not going to let one tough match overshadow everything this team has accomplished so far. Sometimes you need a game like tonight to show you what the next level looks like. We saw some things we haven't seen before, and now we have something new to work toward. We've got plenty to learn from tonight, and we'll take those lessons with us moving forward. Keep your heads up, Lady Braves. One tough match doesn't change how far you've come this season. I'm proud of you, and we'll get back to work. 🏐❤️💙 Tomorrow night: we welcome another county rival, North Miami, onto our home court!
