The Braves picked up an impressive late-night road win over Blackford with a strong team performance on both ends of the field. Molly Berryman led the offensive attack with four goals, including a spectacular goal directly from a corner kick that curved beautifully into the net. Ani Osornio added another goal to cap off a productive 5-0 night for the offense. Delight Pier was a constant threat in the attacking third, recording numerous shots on goal and contributing two assists. Our midfield controlled the pace of the game all evening, possessing the ball well and creating scoring opportunities with key forward passes. Defensively, our backline stood tall and limited Blackford to very few chances, while goalkeeper Nevaeh Anderson was outstanding in net, turning away every opportunity that came her way to preserve the shutout. It was a complete team effort and a great road victory under the lights. Our next game is Thursday at home against Kokomo to conclude our season and we will be celebrating our Seniors!
