Maconaquah Schools

The 8th grade played at a more determined pace than last night. They kept the ball in play more, they were more focused on better passing, hitting to holes, keeping the serves in the court and teamwork. After a first game loss of 18-25 they struck back and were more determined and in focused to keep the ball in play and win 25-22 forcing set 3. Although Oak Hill finished with a win the Braves kept some long rallies going losing 6-15. Dena Salazar had 12 service points with 4 aces, Adela Houlihan had 4 service points with 2 aces and Hattie Hatcher had 3 points with 2 aces. Dena and Adela led the team in attacks and Dena had 3 blocks. Hattie had 8 assists and several saves and the defense was on target with Ruby, Kinsley , Adela, Ellie, Evelyn, Cayman, Ava, Lenix, Rilynn, Eden and Dena keeping the ball in play.
