Varsity vs Oak Hill High School Win The Lady Braves volleyball team started off the season with a 3-0 (28-26, 25-21, 25-23)win over Oak Hill at Home Tuesday night. The Braves were led by Senior Alyssa Birner with 10 kills and 29 digs. Fellow Senior Emma Zeiser added seven kills and Senior Katelyn Greis downed five kills and four blocks. Setter Delaney Betzner doled out 26 assists and dug up 13 balls and setter Averie Maiben passed out 21 assists. Libero Addie Maiben dug up 35 balls and DS Aubrey Kaiser saved 16 rallies with a dig. The Braves were able to have strong service runs scoring points in bunches and limit our errors to come away with a hard fought win. The JV team fell in two sets 25-16, 25-11. The Braves travel to Peru Thursday for our first conference match.
