Varsity vs Peru High School (3 - 1) Win The Lady Braves volleyball team defeated the scrappy Peru Tigers 3-1(25-21, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22) in Peru Thursday. Our first conference win was fueled by an incredibly efficient performance at the net by Senior Middle Katelyn Greis. Katelyn dropped 19 kills on 30 swings with just two errors and included a solo block. Greis used a combination of power and finesse to lead us to victory. Senior OH Alyssa Birner added 14 kills and sophomore Ireland Kile floored seven kills. We are at the Kokomo Invitational Saturday. Our much improved JV team lost in three sets 25-16, 14-25, 12-15.
