The girls improved on last weeks performance with a 2nd place finish at the Jacob Graf Memorial Invite on Saturday. All 8 runners improved on their season best times. Chloe Jordan finished 4th overall in a time of 20:46.0. Zoie Laber was 6th coming in at 21:09.7. Lucy Loshnowsky finished in 11th place with almost even splits and a time of 21:24.3. Rounding out the podium finishers for the Braves was Macie McManus in 19th and a time of 22:36.5. Samantha Jones (28 - 23:21.9), Kaytlin Moeller (34 - 23:58.3), and Shay Schoettmer (74 - 27:01.5) continue to find more speed as they rounded out the Varsity team. Ily Berry continues to improve and finished 9th in the JV race in a time of 27:52.6. The boys finished 11th out of 20 complete teams. Daylen Schrock led the way with a 6th place finish at 17:04.3. He was followed by Joel Loshnowsky in 34th place in 18:39.7. Ari Schrock was 44th in 18:54.5. Christian Collins ran to an 87th place finish in 21:03.5 and Aidyn Farnell was close behind in 89th place with a time of 21:05.5. Jacob Bowman (107 - 22:13.2) and JT Dobbs (122 - 23:48.5) completed the varsity squad this week. The boys had 3 runners compete in the JV race. Luke Abbot was 39th in 25:37.6, Hunter Jenkins was 48th at 27:05.2 and Nathaniel Pennington was 55th with a time of 34:42.1. Both teams race next weekend at the Taylor University Invite.
