The 8th grade Lady Braves battled the heat and took a loss in the season opener against Wabash. In the first set, the Brave lost 25-13, leading the Braves in serve points was Ava Shively with 5, Brinley Meyer, Eliot Fuller, and Ryleigh Marburger each had 2, Addie Korba and Marlee Sears each had one. In the second set the Braves lost 25-20. Leading the Braves in serve points was Shively and Fuller with 5 each, Meyer with 4, Kaidence Michael with 3, Korba with 2, and Sears with 1. Lilly Fisher, Jessa Fye , and Savannah Manriquez all helped defensively as well. Great job ladies on your season opener. The Braves host Logansport at home on Thursday 8/29. 8th grade will start immediately after 7th grade around 7:00 pm.
