Varsity vs Northwestern MS-HS Win The Lady Braves defeated TRC foe Northwestern at home Thursday 25-20, 25-17, 25-21. The Braves are now 9-5, (3-1 TRC) on the season. After a rough day at the office on Tuesday at Wabash, the view from our "balconies" in our gym helped the girls regroup with better communication and focus to earn the win. Our service game kept the Tigers off balance all night with Aubrey Kaiser leading the way with nine aces in the match. Alyssa Birner floored eight kills and Ireland Kile tallied seven kills and three blocks to lead the attack. MB Katelyn Greis added five kills and stuffed five blocks at the net for the Braves. Addie Maiben dug up 22 balls on defense. The JV team won in two sets 25-20, 25-13 with Kaitlynn Bunch serving eight aces and Lucee Jernagan adding five aces.
