Varsity vs Rochester High School Win The Lady Braves defeated conference foe Rochester 25-14, 25-20, 25-16. We were able to serve aggressively and keep the Lady Zebras out of system for most of the match. Running the offense with 21 assists Setter Delaney Betzner set the tone with several long service runs including five aces. Senior Alyssa Birner had a strong performance at the net with 16 kills, two blocks, and 17 digs. Libero Addie Maiben led the back row with 24 digs and 19 receptions. The Braves are now 14-7 and 4-2 in the conference. The JV team fell in two sets 20-25, 16-25. Our serve receive was off and we were not able to get our offense going all match. Kira Ropes led the way with five kills and Leah Boggs downed three balls for the JV Braves . Our next match is at Manchester Thursday.
