The Maconaquah boys soccer squad pulled off the win against a very physical, much improved Tipton squad. The Braves scored early in the first half when Colton Beebe chipped the ball across the goal to Louis Mendoza, who buried the header home. The majority of the game was played between the goal areas with only 4 shots on goal for Tipton and two for the Braves. Maconaquah was short handed as Kaden Hanson and Matt Kok were both sidelined from injuries sustained in the last game against Rochester. The Braves are now 10-3-1 on the season with the final two games next week against Manchester (Monday) and Peru (Wednesday). Sectionals will begin at Maconaquah on Oct 8th.
