Junior Varsity at Wabash Invite Our first match was a JV vs.Peru (2-0) win. Next up was a Braves vs. Northfield (2-1) win. The third match vs. Manchester (0-2) was a loss. Our final match vs. Northwestern was a three set loss (1-2). The Junior Varsity Braves were at Wabash High School Saturday morning. We started the day off with a victory against Peru. Lucee Jernigan was able to run our offense with 7 aces and 9 kills. Kaitlynn Bunch fought at the net with 3 blocks. For our second victory, we battled in three sets against Northfield. Leah Boggs led our serves with 6 aces and Joselynn Couch had 3 aces. Leah and Kaitlynn had a kill each and Kira Ropes and Lucee each at 4 kills. Kaitlynn Bunch addied 4 blocks at the net. Going into our third match, we fell against Manchester. Kira had an ace and Leah led the way with 4 kills. In the final game to fight for third place, we fell short to Northwestern in three sets. The girls played hard today. Next game is Tuesday against Whitko on 10/1.-Coach Roesler
