Maconaquah Schools

The Maconaquah boys soccer team came ready to play when they faced Eastern in the first round of sectional play and blanked them 13-0. The Mac attack consistently held the ball in Eastern's defensive side of the field and resulted in very efficient scoring. The Braves took 25 shots and scored 12 goals from them. The additional goal came from a Penalty kick. Scoring for Maconaquah were Bennett Isenburg with 4 goals, Colton Beebe with 3 goals, Kevin Nord and Max Sachse with 2 goals each, Garrett McManus and Louis Mendoza with 1 goal each. With this win, the Braves are now 12-4-1 on the season and will now have a rematch against Northwestern who got the better of the Braves in their contest during the regular season 1-2. This game will be held on Wed 10/9 at Maconaquah following the Peru/Wabash game which starts at 5 pm.
