Maconaquah Schools

Tonight the 7th Grade Lady Braves had a tough loss against Manchester in 2 sets of the RRC Tournament to finish their season. The first set ended with a score of 18-25 and the second set had a score of 14-25. Bailei Boggs led the team tonight with 2 aces while Bristol Yoder and Katrina Cardwell each had 1. Ellie Hostetler, Abigael Pearce, Hayden Soldi, Evelyn Fred, and Raewyn Alexander all contributed with digs and sets tonight. Whitney Barnes was cheering on from the sidelines since she was out with an injury. The girls played 2 hard fought sets with great teamwork and communication. Even though they didn't get the win tonight it was one of their best games of the season. Each girl has improved so much since the beginning of the season and should be proud of their growth. I'm looking forward to what next season brings for this group of girls as 8th graders.
