The Lady Braves volleyball team sent our seniors out on a high note with a sweep of Tipton Thursday night. The JV team stated the evening with a 25-15, 25-22 win before Senior night festivities. Lucee Jernagan had five kills and Leah Boggs had four kills to lead the junior varsity front row. Naomi Cook served five aces for the JV Braves. The varsity squad then handled their business with a 25-15, 25-10, 26-24 three set win. Our five seniors Raeleigh Betzner, Alyssa Birner, Josie Callane, Katelyn Greis, and Emma Zeiser, along with our foreign exchange student Elysse McGuigan went out on a high note. Seniors Alyssa Birner and Katelyn Greis both floored 11 kills and fellow Senior Emma Zeiser tallied nine kills to lead the Braves attack. Averie Maiben passed out 20 assists and had 10 digs while Delaney Betzner had 18 assists, nine digs, and four aces. Libero Addie Maiben had 20 digs and 20 serve receptions from the back row, while Birner dug up 22 balls and added nine serve receptions The Braves are now 17-9 on the season and wrap up the regular season at the Mac Invite Saturday.
