Lady Braves move to 2-0

The Lady Braves started the game out offensively a little slow only scoring 6 points in the first quarter, but their defense kept them in the game. At halftime, the team talked about effort and attitude, the two things that we can control. The team came out with a better effort, especially on the boards. The Lady Braves out rebounded Tipton 32-30 and caused 38 turnovers. The Lady Braves had 12 of their 15 baskets assisted. The Lady Braves were led by Ireland Kile with 16 points and 5 rebounds, Kasey Murry and Averie Maiben both came off the bench and scored 6 points each. Averie also led the team with 3 assist. Aubrey Stoll who was in foul trouble the first half ended the game with 7 steals. The Lady Braves (2-0) next game is this Saturday against Manchester with a 2:30 varsity tipoff.
