Maconaquah Schools

The Mac 8th grade boys won their second game of the season against the Eastern Comets. The Braves brought the defensive intensity holding the Comets to only 4 points in the 1st half. Although the Comets found a way to get to the basket in the second half, the Braves held onto their lead with a gritty performance in a very physical game. The final score was 33-23. Scorers for the Braves: Jaxon Cole with 12 points, Tre Rader with 9 points, Levi Merritt and Brayden Stamper had 5 points each with Evan Zeiser adding 2 points. The Braves improve to 2-0 on the season and have a few weeks to learn from their first two outings before their next game.
