The Lady Braves hosted TRC opponent Northfield and came away with a 40-34 win. The win moves their record to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the TRC. From the tipoff, the Lady Braves applied pressure with their defense and offense. in the 1st quester the Lady Braves outscored Northfield 15-6 with 5 offensive rebounds, and shooting 4-10 from inside the arch. and 1-2 from behind the arch. In the 2nd quarter, the Lady Braves struggled a little from the field and Northfield shot 6-11 to draw the game close at halftime 25-21. Lady Braves. In the 3rd quarter both teams picked up their defense and made it hard for each other on the offensive end of the court. The Lady Braves continued with their defensive pressure and held Northfield to just 6 points in that quarter. In the 4th quarter, The Lady Braves had 7 of their 19 steals. Northfield did take a 1-point lead with about 4:00 minutes in the game, but the Lady Braves locked down on their defense and outscored Northfield 8-2 the rest of the game. The Lady Braves were led by Aubrey Stoll who record her first career double-double with 14 points and 11 steals. Ireland Kile had 12 points and 5 rebounds. Aubrey Kaiser did a great job defensively holding Northfields leading scorer 7 points under her average and Aubrey also had 5 rebounds on the night.
