Maconaquah Boy's Varsity vs Oak Hill High School (109 - 71) Win. The boys were determined to get the win last night. We knew Oak Hill was going to give us much better races than last week. I told them that we had to fight for every point. Oak Hill took the lead after winning the Medley Relay in a very close race. We got 2-3 so they were up by 2 points. In the 200 free, we got 1-4-5 and the score was tied at 15 all. The 200 IM was huge. Aiden Ousley and Colton Beebe went 1-2 with Joel Loshnoswsky taking 5th. We took a 6 point lead and never looked back. Garrett McManus won the 200 Free and 500 Free. Aiden Ousley won the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke. Ryley Rodkey won the 50 Free and 100 Free. Cole Nye won the 100 Butterfly. Cole Nye, Zach Duke, P.J. Higgins, and Garrett McManus won the 200 Free Relay and Ryley Rodkey, Zach Duke, Aiden Ousley, and Garrett McManus won the 400 Free Relay. The boys had many season best times and had 13 personal best times. I am very happy with were we are at this early in the season. The Golden Goggle Awards go to Ryley Rodkey, Ethan Lee, and Joel Loshnowsky. Ryley won all 4 events and had best times in the 50 fly leg of Medley relay and 50 Freestyle. Ethan Lee has best times in the 200 Free(dropped 7 seconds) and 500 Free(dropped 14 seconds) and is working very hard in practice. Joel Loshnowsky had two best times in the 50 Back leg of Medley Relay and 200 IM(dropped 6.5 seconds). Joel also had season bests(just off his PRs) in the 100 Back and 100 Free.
