Lady Braves Defeat Lady Vikings 143-38

The girls swam Tippy Valley last night and really came in to swim! In the 200 medley relay, the team of Loshnowsky, Duke, Jones, and Laber placed 1st followed by a second place finish from Collins Schoettmer, McManus, and Berryman. Chloe Jordan continued her undefeated streak in the 200 followed by Sophia Hoffman in 2nd and Maddie Brennan in 4th. It was a 1,2,3 finish in the 200 IM from Jones, Schoettmer, and Berryman. The 50 free had Zoie Laber in 1st place, Kyndal Collins in 3rd, and Kamryn New in 5th. Macie McManus, Aubrey McClain, and Anna Lorenz placed 1,2,3 in diving with the same 1,2,3 result in the 100 Butterfly from Loshnowsky, Jones, and Berryman. In the 100 Freestyle, Zoie Laber placed 1st followed by Delaney Duke and Macie McManus in 4th. Jordan, Hoffman, and Brennan were 1,2,3 in the 500 freestyle. In the 200 freestyle relay, Jones, McManus, Schoettmer, and Jordan placed 1st followed by New, Heath, Brennan, and Hoffman coming in 3rd. Loshnowsky and Collins placed 1st and 2nd in the 100 backstroke with Kamrynn New placing 5th. Duke and Schoettmer placed 1st and 2nd in the 100 breaststroke followed by Molly Heath in 4th. The meet ended with Jordan, Loshnowsky, Berryman, and Laber placing 1st in the 400 free relay followed by Hoffman, Brennan, Collins, and Duke in 2nd. The Golden Goggle went to Shay Schoettmer. Shay is a senior and has worked hard in swimming since she was little. She earned 2 PR’s last night and dropped time in her leg of the relay and breaststroke. Monday we swim against Wabash at Home.
