Lady Braves Get Road Win

The Lady Braves traveled to Tri-Central last night in the first cold snowy weather of the year. And the Lady Braves started out cold offensively also inside the gym. Tri-Central took a 12-1 lead to start the game. The Lady Braves then got a spark from Kasey Murry who came off the bench and hit a 3-point shot on her first attempt. Then the Lady Braves were able to turn up their defense and cause some turnovers. The Lady Braves were still down 16-9 at the end of the 1st quarter. At the start of the 2nd quarter, the Lady Braves defense started to take full control of the game. Aubrey Kaiser had another outstanding defensive effort guarding their best player, and holding her 10 points under her average. Aubrey Stoll also had 8 steals on the night. The total team really played well on the defensive end of the court after the 1st quarter holding Tri-Central to 9 points through a 22-minute span of the game. In other stats from the game, Ireland Kile had 20 points and 6 rebounds, Addie Maiben had 5 points and 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Delaney Betzner had 5 points and 3 steals, Aubrey Stoll had 5 points, 9 assist and 8 steals. Kasey Murry and Gabby Griffis both had 3 points, Aubrey Kaiser had 2 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Averie Maiben ended the game with 2 assist and 2 steals. The Lady Braves next game is on Tuesday, December 17 as they travel to 1A #8 Carroll for a varsity only game at 6:30 pm
