The girls swam their way to their 9th consecutive TRC victory today! They started the day off with a 1st place finish in the 200 medley relay (Loshnowsky, Duke (PR), McManus (PR), and Laber). Chloe Jordan came to swim and had a 1st place finish and shaved four seconds off her PR. Freshman Sophia Hoffman earned her spot on the podium with a 1 second drop in her time and Maddie Brennan had a PR and a 7th place finish. Samantha Jones placed 3rd in the 200 IM, Shay Schoettmer placed 5th and had a PR, and freshman Molly Berryman placed 6th. The 50 freestyle was very exciting when Zoie Laber (PR) tied for 1st place with Manchester! Kyndal Collins placed 3rd and had a PR dropping a full second. Molly Heath placed 12 and dropped a second as well. In Diving, Freshman Macie McManus placed 3rd and bettered her 11 dive score by 26 points! Aubrey McClain placed 5th and bettered her dive score by over 20 points and Anna Lorenz placed 6th improving her score by over 30 points. Lucy Loshnowsky placed 2nd in the 100 fly and had a PR with Sam Jones in 3rd, and Molly Berryman in 5th. In the 100 freestyle, Zoie Laber came in 1st improving her time by a second, Delaney Duke placed 3rd and dropped a second, and Macie McManus dropped a second and placing 4th. Chloe Jordan placed 1st in the 500 dropping over 6 seconds from her PR. Madison Brennan placed 4th and dropped 4 seconds. Sophia Hoffman placed 7th. Delaney Duke, Macie McManus, Molly Berryman, and Chloe Jordan placed 1st in the 200 free relay and all girls had a PR. Lucy Loshnowsky placed 2nd in the backstroke followed by Kyndal Collins in 5th, and Kamrynn New in 7th with a PR. Delaney Duke had a PR in the 100 breaststroke and came in 2nd with Shay Schoettmer in 4th and Molly Heath in 7th. It was another 1st place finish in the 400 freestyle relay from the team of Chloe Jordan, Lucy Loshnowsky, Samantha Jones, and Zoie Laber. All the girls earned PR's in the race as well. Four Golden Goggles were given out today. Lucy Loshnowsky had two PR's and went under a minute in her leg of the 400 free relay. Macie McManus earned a Golden Goggle for placing 3rd in diving and bettering her score by over 26 points and earning 3 best times today in her swimming events. Zoie Laber earned a Golden Goggle for having 3 PR's and placing 1st in all events. Chloe Jordan earned a Golden Goggle for having 4 PR's today and placing 1st in all events.
