They ran about five different looks on defense. Our kids were able to adjust to the different looks. They are a very good defensive team. Josiah Ball was in attack mode throughout the game. He had 26 points in the first half, ending with 34. He hit 11-12 free throws. Our free throw shooting was huge. AJ Kelly did not score in the first half. He went off for 16 points in the second half. We also have moved AJ down in our defense to use his ability to work for rebounds. He responded with 11 rebounds. That was a Double-double that we really needed. He also had a block on the break that was just phenominal. That saved a bucket to keep our lead. He did a good job on the HH leading scorer when we guarded them. I also thought Fuddy Kile playing with 4 fouls for the last 10 minutes of the game was another reason we kept our lead. Devon Murry, Landon Adams, and Jack Gochenour all did a great job putting pressure on out front. Ball pressure is something we teach. Out front, you have to have active hands, and really move to cover. These guys really did their job out front. Great team effort to win this game.
