Maconaquah Schools

The 7th grade lady Braves played against Southwood in the first round of tournament play. The Braves took the win defeating Southwood 31-15 to move onto the Championship Game. Leading the Braves in that game was Katrina Cardwell with 12 points, Whitney Barnes 9 points, Bailei Boggs and Scarlett Daugherty both with 4 points, and Ellie Hostetler with 2 points. The Braves had many offensive and defensive rebounds during this game. The Lady Braves came up short against Wabash in the Championship game losing 20-27 to come in second place. Leading the Braves was Barnes with 11 points, Cardwell with 5 points, Boggs and Hostetler both had 2 points. The Braves next game is Tuesday when they travel to Whitko with a tip off time of 6:00 pm.
