Maconaquah Girls Tennis Dominates Hamilton Heights 5-0

The Maconaquah girls' tennis team cruised to a 5-0 victory over Hamilton Heights on Thursday. Kiera Rosenow led the way with a solid 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles. Finley Dobbs followed with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles, and Jadyn Percival added a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 3 singles. In doubles play, the No. 1 team of Carola Sebastianelli and Josie Callane secured a 6-0, 6-3 victory. The No. 2 doubles duo of Lacie Williams and Sophia Kenworthy fought through a tough first set but bounced back to win 3-6, 6-4, 10-2 in a tiebreaker for the 3rd set. With the win, Maconaquah improved to 3-1 on the season and will look to keep the momentum going in their next match against Manchester on Tuesday.
