The Braves received a combined effort on the mound from Bennett Isenburg and Caiden Richards to shutout Northfield 5-0. Bennett threw 5 scoreless giving up 2 hits and striking out 2 batters. Caiden came on in relied in the 6th and gave up 3 hits while striking out 3. The Braves received a huge 2 RBI double in the second from Isenburg as well. Kobe Bowman had a big day going 2-3 at the plate. Jack Gochenhour and Devon Murry each added a hit as well. The Braves played incredible defense tonight. Cohen Helmuth and Jordan Ellis each made difficult cathes at the corner outfield spots. Jayden Mercer threw a runner out from centerfield on an odd 8-3 putout at second base. Deven MItchell, Murry, and Gochenhour each made tough plays in the infield. And Damion Torres played a spotless game from behind the plate. The Braves are back in action on Wednesday against Northwestern.
