On Thursday evening, the Boys' Track and Field team competed in the IHSAA Sectional 13 at Kokomo High School. The Braves showed up ready to win and compete against the 12 teams in their sectional, but they fell short to a talented Kokomo Wildcats team. The team scored in 13 of the 16 events, with 3 Sectional Champions and 8 Regional qualifiers. AJ Kelly also set a new school record in the 100 100-meter dash. The record for the 100 meters (11.01) was set in 1988 by Steve Shine, and then tied in 1996 by Chad Sharp. AJ ran an impressive 10.76 in his prelims to break the record.
